¶ Single Adults Activity (ages 18-35)
August 14th & 15th - Utah Area YSA Conference (singles ages 18-35) "Together in Christ" Salt Palace Convention Center
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We invite every young single adult ages 18–35 to attend the 2026 Utah Area
Young Single Adult Conference, August 14 and 15, at the Salt Palace
Convention Center in Salt Lake City.
This conference is led by the Utah Area Presidency and has been prepared
with great care, faith, and excitement. As an Area, we are joyfully gathering
Israel one by one in Christ, and this conference will help young single adults
be strengthened in Jesus Christ, deepen their faith in His word, and build
meaningful relationships with one another.
The conference will include keynote messages, breakout sessions, music,
service opportunities, and uplifting gathering experiences.
We invite families, friends, ministering brothers and sisters, and ward members
to personally encourage the young single adults in their lives to attend.

¶ Emergency Preparedness
Be Ready Sandy on the third Wednesday of each month (next one August 19, 2026) at 7:00 p.m. at the new Sandy City Fire Station 31 on 239 W. 9270 S.
Our community’s Soup Night—Saturday, September 12, 2026, 5:30-7 p.m. at the Dimple Dell Stake Center (1050 E. 10600 S.). Bring your favorite soup and listen to Elaina Poulson’s experience from the 6.7 Northridge Earthquake in 1994 and her 11-year-old daughter's unexpected response. She will also offer practical suggestions on how to prepare.
Family Disaster Plans presented by Jeff Johnson on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Dimple Dell Stake Center. Learn the basics of the 12 areas of preparedness to prepare your family for whatever the future holds—with a Q & A. Jeff retired from Be Ready Utah and is an excellent and extremely knowledgeable presenter, so this will be well worth your time to attend. Come and ask questions.
