June Recommended Prep Activity—Harden your home against wildfire. Work on zone 2 (5–30 feet around your home). Remove leaf and needle debris. Keep grass less than 4” high. Trim tree branches 6-10’ up from the ground. Create vegetation groups to break up continuous fuels.
