¶ Youth Conference and Camps Schedule
The stake and wards have agreed to the following scheduling guides to assist in long term planning for youth conferences and summer camps:
- The stake hosts youth conference on odd years and summer camps on even years
- The wards host summer camps on odd years
- Trek is hosted by the stake every 4 years

*The summer of 2024 is a special case because some wards had multi-year reservations planned before the stake merge. The stake will host youth camps just like in normal even years, but in this year wards may opt out of the stake camp and provide their own if desired. Going forward, all wards should plan to attend the stake hosted camps on even years.
- The Church will draw $75 per youth participating in FSY from the Ward’s Budget “FSY category” within one month after the FSY conference is over. (Note- Families will pay $75 per youth participating in FSY directly to the Church at the time of registration)
- Oakcrest YW camp will draw $230 per youth participant from the Ward. Ward’s may ask participant’s families to pay for part of that cost AND wards may fundraise to help offset that cost.
- The Stake will require $150 per youth participating in YM/YW camps. Ward’s may ask participant’s families to pay for part of that cost AND wards may fundraise to help offset that cost. The Stake will invoice each ward for the entire $150 per youth. (The stake will not collect funds from parents)
- The Stake will require $25 per youth participating in youth conference (commitment fee).
- The Oakcrest YW camp will draw $230 per youth participant. Ward’s may ask participant’s families to pay for part of that cost AND wards may fundraise to help offset that cost.
- Wards will fund their summer camps. Ward’s may ask participant’s families to pay for part of that cost AND wards may fundraise to help offset that cost.
In addition to weeklong camps and youth conferences (including FSY and Treks) Wards may conduct one Bishop’s retreat a year.
- The retreat must be no more than 2 days and one night.
- It must be paid out of Ward Budget and must comply with Stake travel policies.
