To all within the Dimple Dell Stake boundaries –
It is February and still cold outside. But it is time once again to be thinking of the joys of gardening and being self-reliant … raising our own vegetables. Once again the Stake will be offering space in the Stake garden for those that need a place to plant a garden. We will offer plots based on the number of people that would like a garden space. Currently, we have approximately 21 spaces, each 4’x8’. If you would like a space or two, please send me an email to let me know. You have until Friday, February 28 to let me know. Then the garden will be divided into plots. If you wish more plots, include that in your email as well. We will try to accommodate as many as we can, but it will be on a first come, first serve basis. We will also be having classes for preparing your soil, what to plant, caring for your crops, and closing down your garden at the end of the growing season. These classes will be available whether you have a garden at the stake plot, or growing in your own yard. Remember, the deadline for requesting a space at the Stake garden is Friday, February 28, 2025. Spring and planting season is just around the corner.
In your email requesting space, include your name, phone number, and ward.

The Point
Water is necessary for life and survival. You are 60 to 70 percent water. It’s essential for all bodily functions.
If you are thirsty, you're already dehydrated.
You can only last three to four days without it. Having clean drinking water storage and knowing how to safely treat more is vital to "be ready" for survival.
